Gifted and Talented Programming

Grant Ranch School serves students ECE 3-8th grade and is a community where relationships are created with students and families which helps us identify and encourage students’ strengths while also ensuring growth. Our school strives to ensure our gifted and talented identification process is equitable and diverse to represent our community. Our gifted and talent development students are served through a resource model with a teacher endorsed in Gifted Education as well as receiving support in the general education classroom. We nurture our students’ academic needs and their social emotional learning through affective skill development. Our students are empowered to self-advocate and to be solution seekers. We provide our students with the opportunity to use their voices, to lead in the school, and lead in the community by: fostering and practicing higher order and critical thinking skills, developing and practicing creative thinking and problem solving skills, and strengthening communication and collaborations skills. Grant Ranch School also offers a variety of enrichment and curricula opportunities throughout the year that our students self-select. Families are provided support and opportunities to help their children grow as we hope to cultivate global, lifelong learners who become future leaders, positively impacting society.
