Gifted and Talented

Colorado has been my home since 2000 when I moved here from Michigan. I grew up in a small town, graduated from Michigan State University, and then relocated to Colorado where I earned my Master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. I’ve been teaching since 2001, and I am a British primary-trained educator, having completed the Stanley British Primary Teacher Preparation Program. Additionally, I am a National Board Certified Teacher and hold an endorsement in gifted education from the state of Colorado. 

Outside of teaching, I love spending time outdoors with my husband, three sons, and our dog. We enjoy hiking, camping, and attending music festivals, and I also find joy in kayaking and being on the water. The natural beauty of trees and water brings me peace and tranquility.
