Kelly Mettler
ECE Teacher

I began my education at the Metropolitan State College of Denver in the fall of 2001 exploring many different programs such as speech therapy, behavioral science, and human development. I graduated from the Metropolitan State College of Denver in May of 2008 with a degree in Human Development with a minor in Early Childhood Education. 

I started my employment with Denver Public Schools in the fall of 2002 working in an all-day kindergarten classroom as a paraprofessional. The following year I began working with children with special needs and continued that for the following three years. Once I graduated from college, I received my first teaching job in 2009 at Grant Ranch and have been teaching here ever since. 

I LOVE to laugh and be around others who do, too! I also enjoy the outdoors, snowboarding, hiking/snowshoeing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I have a wonderful husband, who I’ve been married to since 2013. We have an adventurous son, a bold and spirited daughter, and a very energetic dog. They keep us on our toes and keep our hearts full!
