Kristin Hochmuth
6th grade

I was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin (Go Pack Go!), but have lived in Colorado since I was 8. I graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a double major in Social Studies and Spanish/Bilingual Education.  My Master’s in Education comes from CU Denver where I studied Curriculum and Instruction in Bilingual Education.  I have taught every grade from Preschool through 9th, but my heart has always been in the middle school level- and I adore the transition year of 6th grade.  I love watching students explore the world and demonstrate their knowledge in continually deeper and more creative ways.  

When I am not teaching, you can find me with my family.  I adore being outside all year, love to run, garden, play on rivers and lakes, camp, and hike in our beautiful state.  Travel lights my heart on fire, and I feel lucky to have explored as many beautiful places as I have in my life. When I must stay indoors, I love knitting, baking, being creative and crafting with my two amazing daughters, or cheering on my Green Bay Packers.  I love being part of the amazing staff at GRS.
