Ms. Brouillette was NEVER going to be a teacher. She began her university career as a flute performance major and dreamed of playing in the best orchestras throughout the world. After many years of playing and teaching the flute, being a graduate teaching assistant, and conducting a children’s choir at a local church she finally realized that (gasp!) she was, in fact, a teacher and (double gasp!) she enjoyed it very much. When this reality finally took hold, she went back to her alma mater, the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, to earn her teaching certificate. She has been the music teacher at Grant Ranch since 2015.Ms. Brouillette’s love of music formed early in life as she began playing the flute at age ten. She enjoys sharing her love of music with her students and wants to ensure that they receive a comprehensive music education.
