My name is Alanna Williss. I am from San Diego, California and moved to Denver in 2008. My two sisters have also joined me in Denver and we love to explore the great outdoors together. After moving to Colorado, I decided to change careers. I went back to school and attended Metropolitan State University. I studied Human Development & Psychology and minored in early childhood education. I took a year off after graduating then applied to the Stanley British Primary Teacher Prep Program. During the 2014-2015 teacher intern program year I was able to teach in two different school settings, Stanley British Primary School and Steele Elementary. I was fortunate to have worked with two wonderful mentor teachers as well as two very dynamic teaching staffs. Along with getting my teaching license, I have also been working on my Masters in Educational Psychology through the University of Denver Colorado. I like to go canyoneering, rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, backpacking, skiing, and camping. I also enjoy watching sports, especially baseball and football. My favorite sports teams are the San Diego Chargers, the San Diego Padres, and the St. Louis Cardinals. I also enjoy exploring different National Parks, watching live music, going out to eat with friends, and being with my family.
