Alexandra Papa, MA, NCC, LPC – School Counselor at Grant Ranch
Alexandra Papa has wanted to be a School Counselor since her Senior Year of High School Internship with an Elementary School Counselor. Alexandra came back to her hometown of Denver to complete her master’s in Counseling at the University of Colorado Denver after being on the East Coast for 8 years. Since graduating in 2012 Alexandra worked for a year at Community Reach Center as a School Therapist providing in house therapy to students and families in Commerce City. Then Alexandra worked at Centaurus High School as a drop out Prevention Counselor with primarily 9thand 10thgrade students. Alexandra worked at Oakland Elementary School in DPS for four years where she helped advocate for students and families and provided individual and group counseling and classroom lessons to all grades. Ms. Papa is excited to be at Grant Ranch for her first year! A fun fact about Alexandra is that she is a Colorado native but people often think she has a Mid West accent and she is also an only child. Alexandra also enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking, skiing, and playing with her dog Murphy Sue!
