Many thanks to all those individuals that contributed to the success of Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)’s Fall Festival! The Fall Festival, held on Friday, October 23, 2009 was extremely well planned and organized. There was “something for everyone” as students dressed in costumes went trick or treating, entered a costume contest or ventured into the haunted house.” Some of the other activities include “bouncy houses”, games, cake walks, arts and crafts, refreshments and much more. As a result, a good time was had by all!

November and December can be described as “hectic times” in a school calendar. Staff and students are eagerly anticipating the holiday season, as well as participating in instructional activities.

Grant Ranch School will be hosting special activities during the month of November.

The fifth grade students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their musical talents to their parents during a choir concert. The concert will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the cafetorium.

Grant Ranch School is providing the opportunity for students, their family and friends to join us for the annual Turkey Feast. The feast will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in the cafetorium.  The feast includes turkey with all the “fixings,” dessert, beverage and good conversation!

The first trimester of the 2009-2010 school year ends on Friday, November 6, 2009. Report cards will be mailed home tentatively on Friday, November 21, 2009.

School will not be in session on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in observance of Veteran’s Day. Classes will resume on Thursday, November 12, 2009.
