Chess Club

The Drop-in Chess Club meets every Tuesday after school until 5:10. It is a time for beginners to learn to play chess and for more advanced players to hone their skills, learn new strategies, and participate in games. Weekly attendance is not required; feel free to join us whenever you're in the mood to play!
 
First Grade Math Club

The Math Club meets on Tuesdays in Mrs Ellis' room. We spend part of the time in our classroom reviewing Math concepts and spend part of the time in the computer lab exploring Math websites!This club is open to all first grade students.
 
Game Club

Game Club has 35 members. The Game Club meets on alternating Tuesdays. We play a variety of games from educational games to the oldie's but goodies (example Sorry). Students may bring their own game to teach and share. Other games and puzzles are available to use. One new game is taught each week to those that are interested.
 
Horse Club

The Horse Club -- Fact, Fiction, Mythologymeets every Tuesday. We learn everything you ever wanted to know about horses. We spent a day on a ranch learning how to groom horses. This club is open to all interested students.
 
Reading Club

The reading club meets on Wednesday afternoons in room 179. From 3:00 - 4:00 thirty 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders just READ! We LOVE to READ! We READ and READ and READ. Sometimes we buddy read, sometimes we read independently, sometimes Mrs. Wilson reads to us. We LOVE to READ!!!
 
Stamping Club

Stamping Club has 15 members. Each week there is a theme that crafts arestamped and made. Students are able to take home all of the crafts. A varietyof stamping techniques are taught and used.
 
Science Club

This club is to introduce and increase primary student's understanding of the scientific method by using exploration, experiments and hands on activites that supplement the science curriculum.
